About the Author:

James Bilderbeck grew up in southern California and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He graduated in 2015 with a degree in English and Communications. Following this, James moved to Seattle for a fresh start and began tutoring for Huntington Learning Center. He was then hired by ALVS as an initial member of the tutoring program in April of 2017. James tutors English, social studies, and math. Additionally, he helped pilot the ALVS writing center, where full-time students can submit their essays and other writing assignments for editing. When he’s not tutoring, James enjoys coaching club soccer with Seattle Celtic.
