Important Enrollment Information for Individual Courses

An enrollment consists of a student enrolled in a one-semester course (at minimum).
One semester course includes 20 calendar weeks of instruction. Summer semester courses include nine calendar weeks of instruction but can be extended to 18 weeks at no extra charge. All Credit Recovery Courses are 10-weeks long.
Required and optional books and course materials can be purchased through any retailer.
To accommodate winter holidays, no work will be due from December 24 to January 1.
Enrollment changes, such as transferring to another course, can be requested within the first 14 calendar days from the course start date.

Refund Policy for Individual Courses

From purchase to 14 calendar days after the selected start date an enrollment fee of 20% of payment will be collected for any withdrawn courses. Any courses withdrawn after more than 14 calendar days will not be eligible for any refund regardless of circumstances.

Plagiarism Policy

To maintain academic integrity, Apex Learning Virtual School requires all work submitted by students to be entirely the result of one’s own effort. Plagiarism will not be tolerated, and teachers will not accept work that is plagiarized. Failure to abide by these rules may result in assignment re-submission, no credit for the assignment, or removal from the course. For more information, read our Plagiarism Policy.

Laboratory Activities

For any Apex Curriculum that includes hands-on laboratory activities, the student’s Sponsoring Organization or school is responsible for all such activities, including ensuring that qualified personnel are available to supervise the activities. You agree that Apex Learning has no liability whatsoever with regard to any such hands-on laboratory activities and you hereby waive any claims you may have against Apex Learning with respect to such activities.
