Enable your child to continue their education during the summer months. Choose from comprehensive courses or prescriptive credit recovery courses, with content tailored to your needs.
Comprehensive Courses Earn original credits at an accelerated pace over the summer. Course content remains the same all year round, but summer course durations are shortened to accommodate busy summer schedules. From May to July, single-semester summer courses are nine weeks, and two-semester summer courses are 18 weeks—but can be extended upon request.
Credit Recovery Courses Make up lost credits at a faster pace and at an affordable price. Credit recovery courses start with unit tests that allow your student to test out of material they have already mastered. Finish in as few as five weeks for 0.5-credit courses, and 10 weeks for 1-credit courses.
Prescriptive credit recovery courses do not meet NCAA® initial eligibility requirements, so student-athletes who need to recover credits should enroll in a comprehensive course.
Whether your student is feeling a little behind or ready for a challenge, ALVS summer school helps them achieve their goals in less time.
