Enable your child to continue their education during the summer months. Choose from comprehensive courses or prescriptive credit recovery courses, with content tailored to your needs.
Whether your student is feeling a little behind or ready for a challenge, ALVS summer school helps them achieve their goals during the summer months.
Comprehensive Courses Earn original credits at a flexible pace over the summer. Course content remains the same all year round, but course pacing can be adjusted to accommodate busy summer schedules.
Credit Recovery Courses Make up lost credits at a flexible pace and at an affordable price. Credit recovery courses start with unit tests that allow your student to test out of material they have already mastered. Finish in as few as five weeks for 0.5-credit courses, and 10 weeks for 1-credit courses.
Prescriptive credit recovery courses do not meet NCAA® initial eligibility requirements, so student-athletes who need to recover credits should enroll in a comprehensive course.
Advance Toward Graduation
Summer is a great time to work ahead. Enroll in honors or AP® courses to prepare for college admissions and accelerate your path to graduation.
Try Something New
Choose from electives, world languages, AP and other courses in the ALVS catalog that your district may not offer or have the staff to teach.
Recover Lost Credits
Recover credits to work toward graduation. Skip over already-mastered content and focus only on the concepts you need to know.
Improve a Grade; Raise your GPA
Retake a class to earn a higher grade and raise your GPA to meet scholarship eligibility or college admissions requirements.
