Q&A with Scott Cremen: ALVS Graduate Success Story

Scott Cremen, defensive player for the New Jersey Titans and ALVS student-athlete graduate is heading to the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship with his team this weekend in Blaine. Minnesota. Scott previously played for the USPHL Northern Cyclones which allowed him to advance to the NAHL. While Scott was a student with ALVS, he earned straight A's in all of his classes and finished his high school experience on a high note. We had the opportunity to have a Q&A session with Scott before the Robertson Cup this weekend.

Q: How are you feeling about playing in the Robertson Cup this weekend?

A: I am extremely excited to be heading to the Robertson Cup Finals this weekend with this very special group of guys. It has been thrilling to be a part of a historical season for the New Jersey Titans. We are the first team in its 7-year history to win the East Division Regular Season Title, the East Division Playoff Title, and earn a trip to the Robertson Cup; and done in such dramatic fashion as well! My team and I are happy with our successes; however, we are not satisfied until we reach our ultimate goal which we have constantly discussed and strived for all season. We are heading into this weekend with a positive discontent and wanting to be more than just a participant.

Q: What position do you play? Where are you hoping to play in the future? Do you have any college or NHL plans?

A: I play Defense. My goals in the future include playing NCAA hockey, earning a college degree, and potentially playing professional hockey.  I want to pursue my love of hockey and be a part of a team for as long as I can!

Q: Can you give some details on your experience with ALVS?

A: I entered my first year in the NAHL with one year remaining in high school. ALVS provided me with an excellent schedule and curriculum to complete my last year of high school. ALVS and its teachers are very understanding of the daily routine that the NAHL has on its student-athletes. I was able to work around my practice, workout, and game schedule so that I could complete my school work at my own pace and time.

We are so proud of Scott and all our amazing ALVS student-athletes and graduates. ALVS wishes Scott and The New Jersey Titans good luck this weekend at the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship!
